Where grew up? Moved to Germany as infant, went through school there. How long in area? 10 years, moved here from Northern California/Bay Area. First and most current/last job: While going to school I worked at a bar and at a gas station pumping gas. Spent 17 years at Microsoft in Sales, Marketing, and Management. Retired four years. Family/pets: Married to wonderful, caring person; 3 kids, 6 grandkids. 3 dogs, 2 cats, 3 horses. Hobbies: Traveling, horseback riding, hiking, skiing, spending time with friends. Volunteer time: Served on the Board of Josephine Community Libraries; get roped in to support community services like Rotary events, Foodbank, and other activities like the Women’s Crisis Support Center sale. Most proud of? Ran marathon through Avenue of the Giants; introduced and taught kids (some with disabilities) how to horseback ride. Currently reading: The Triumph of Seeds: How Grains, Nuts, Kernels, Pulses, and Pips Conquered the Plant Kingdom and Shaped Human History by Thor Hanson and The Murder Stone by Louise Penny.
